Enjoy the Blessington Greenway from The Avon on one of our great bikes!
We have both Hybrid & Mountain Bikes (for adults & teenagers, young and old!), some of our Hybrid Bikes have child seats fixed to the back for infants from 18months up to 3 years old and our Frog Bikes are ideal for children from 7 to 12 years - all available through Avon Bike Hire. A modern bike helmet and trail map are included.
Pedal along the Blessington Greenway on easy off-road trails that cover up to 15km over flat terrain and leads south along the shores of Blessington Lakes and through forest and natural woodland, along the way you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, the scenery and wildlife in the area. Take in Russborough House across the N81 or if you have the legs for it you can circumnavigate Blessington Lake which is 28km.

Adult sized Hybrid Bike for minimum age of 13 years up (dependent on size of child) + Kids Frog Bikes available from 7 years.
Children from 18 months to 3 years go on bucket seat for free.

GUIDED BIKE TOURS
On a Hybrid or a Mountain Bike - available daily
Our Half Day Guided Bike Tour explores the Blessington Greenway and cycle trails of the surrounding area. The tour will visit Burgage Castle, a ring fort and Russellstown Bay and take in panoramic views of the Wicklow Mountains and the Poulaphouca Dam. If you have the legs we will also take you to Russborough House. The tour includes a bike, a helmet and a knowledgeable local tour guide. Minimum Age Requirement is 16 years old.
Enjoy a Full Day Guided Bike Tour along the Blessington Greenway and cycle trails of the surrounding areas without the risk of getting lost. The trail is exciting for experienced riders, with some climbs and descents, as well as amazing views. A challenging, but hassle-free active day, in the Wicklow countryside. The tour includes a bike, a helmet and a knowledgeable local tour guide. Minimum Age Requirement is 16 years old.
